You have five seconds!

When a viewer lands on your website you have five seconds to grab their attention.  Well, maybe it’s not exactly five seconds, but there is so much going on on the web that it is a safe bet you don’t have much time. So what can you do?

A fancy font?

Eyewatering colours?

You could seduce them with subtle shades.

A pretty picture might do it

Or an eye catching bouncy animation…

You get the idea.

There is a place for all these things, but are they going to be as helpful in persuading the customer to hang around as a cartoon?
